51LNGPqdudL._SX326_BO1,204,203,200_‘Three best friends. One five-star hotel. Will it be the holiday of a lifetime?’

This is a sun drenching, thirst quenching, fabulous, laugh out loud read.  If you need a bit of fun in your life then pick up this book and dive into its gleesome pages.

Imogen and her friends Meredith and Nicola, embark on an adventure to Barcelona thanks to a competition win.  They are planning on a holiday of a life-time set in a VIP hip new hotel mixing with the rich and famous.  Will all go to plan though?!

This book is the perfect balance of b*tchiness and love, which is a definite must-need in a light-hearted read such as this.  It makes you snigger yet leaves you feeling content.  A real feel-good story.

Supposedly on holiday to relax, Imogen faces many obstacles.  From spilling her breakfast over an attractive man, to bird poo and pick-pockets leading to a much loved necklace being stolen, a PR catastrophe back in the office, and an embarrassing choking incident… the list could go on.  Won’t life just give Imogen a break?!

Oh, and that twist half way through!  I should have seen that coming really but it knocked me for six.  It was a twist I am glad happened as I could see things so much more clearly from our leading lady Imogen’s point of view, and why she is the way she is – a headstrong gal who is simply full to the brim with so many different emotions.

As for that man Imogen keeps bumping into, is he who he says he is?!  She sure needs a bit of love in her life so I blinking well hoped throughout that he was simply an intelligent sexy man with no ulterior motive!

The detail, the dialogue and every description in this stunning novel made me feel like I was right there in the centre of their friendship group, sat sipping cocktails around the pool.  It is quite simply writing at its finest!

I was lucky enough to win a copy of this book from the Books and the City team at Simon & Schuster, so I thought in return as a thank you I would review.
